The Macon County Veterans’ Memorial is showing much progress in spite of the recent inclement weather. All of the physical features are in place and nearly complete if not totally complete. Very shortly the grounds will be covered with a verdant blanket of sod.
It appears that the Memorial will be ready for its dedication at 11:30 a.m. on the 4th of July. Although the major features will be complete, the Memorial is a work in progress and your generous support through donations is still requested.
